The organization has a Board of Trustees which consists of the Board Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Board Secretary and four Secretaries of the Gender, Youth, Residents and Advocacy Committees. The VISET Board meets at least once every quarter (3months). The current Chairperson of the Board is Mr Jack Zaba. The organization’s secretariat is headed by an Executive Director Mr. S. He is the head of programmes and responsible of translating the organization’s vision, mission and policies into actionable deliverables. As the ED, he is also in charge of project formulation and implementation, review of proposals for fundraising and the development of a logical framework for donor mapping. He is the founding National Director of National Vendors Union Zimbabwe (NAVUZ) a position he held from February 2014 to July 2015. Samuel also worked as the Networks Coordinator at the Elections Resource Centre (ERC) from August 2011 to March 2012. He a holder of Bsc Hon Degree in Human Resource Management with the Midlands State University (MSU), a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development with the Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) and a Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy. She holds a Bsc Honors Degree in Psychology from the Midlands State University (MSU). Tariro is passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth from a disadvantaged background. She has worked for SAfAIDS, advocating for sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Adolescents. Currently as the Programs Manager at VISET, she is working in protecting the rights of women and children in the informal sector through advocating for their socio-economic rights.
Finance and Administration Manager
She studying towards ACCA and she is currently in level two of her studies. Previously she worked as Finance officer at Destiny Legal Aid. She successfully managed the USD 67 000 that VISET received from PACT under the Vendors Action for Constitutional Reform Project (VACRE).
Monitoring and Evaluation officer
Edward Kapodogo is a holder of a Bsc Hons Degree in Human Resource Management from Midlands state University, Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (IPMZ), and Diploma in Labour Relation (IPMZ). He possesses 6 years’ experience as a community development practitioner working with vulnerable communities (including Vendors and orphans and other vulnerable Children) both in Zimbabwe and South Africa respectively. Currently he is the Monitoring and Evaluation officer for VISET the position which he held for 2 years since inception of the organization. Previously he worked as the OVC Project coordinator for South African Red Cross Society Uitenhage Branch, Programmes Manager Liyema Home Community Based Care in South Africa
